I usually made my "to do list" on the morning. It was efficient, however I tried dr.  Barbara Oakley tip and that made it even better. I realized how much precious time I spend every morning on thinking what I have to do instead of using my most productive part of a day. I also recommend  placing the most important activities in the top of your list so that you will, for sure, have time to do them. It's also a great tool to counteract procrastination. I can promise you, the better you plan your "to do list" the less time you'll have to contemplate about things you don't want to do.

In the course "Learning How to Learn" dr Barbara Oakley talk a lot about importance of sleeping. We all know that even one night without a proper dose of sleep can influence our well-being. Now we also know that it is necessary for "cleaning up" our brain before it will be ready to apply more information.
Ever had problems with remebering all those names of countries? Not anymore! Here comes some tip to not only remember names but also how they look like!

In the course "Learning how to Learn" by Dr. Barbara Oakley talks about very important issue which is creating cues) while we’re learning with our surroundings. To avoid creating those associations we can just change place of study as often as we can. Good idea is to practice before a test in the same room where’re going to have it.

This is very interesting issue. As Dr. Oakley discussed in the course “Learning how to Learn” by restricting ourselves to same activities or areas we build something what is called “Einstellung” – (Installation) that can block us to find a solution to problem we’re trying to solve. In order to be more creative we have to let our brains penetrate different areas.  Why not finding a new object of interest? That can actually help you with whatever you’re dealing with now.

A great tip from Keith Devlin known as a "the Math Guy" to solve mathematical problems. I think that it can actually be used to solving every types of problems

If you ever have problems with procrastination here's a technic that can help you. After every 25 min of learning or doing the task you need to do give yourself a reward by doing what ever you want in 5 min. Then you can start again.Tips from me: Don't think too much about the task! Just start to do it!

Dr. Sejnowski in the course "Learning how to learn" talked about how our hormones can influence our behaviors. Dopamine is a hormone that plays a number of important roles in the human brain and body but we all know it as a “happiness hormone”.  Dopamine is crucial in motivational process.
